ROBINSON (May 14, 2009)-Investigators in Robinson are trying to determine what sparked a fire that burned through a maintenance shop at storage facility early Thursday.
Robinson Firefighters were summoned to the storage facility in the 100 block of North Robinson Drive just before 6:00 a.m.
The first units on the scene reported visible flames in one of the buildings and called for mutual aid; fire units from Waco and Hewitt assisted.
A Robinson Volunteer Fire official on the scene early Tuesday told News 10 the fire was contained to one building on the property.
Management for Rocket Mini-Storage confirmed the fire was contained to a maintenance building on the property and emphasized that none of the storage units on site were damaged by the Thursday's fire.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation Thursday morning.
