Colorado Digs Out
The storm that dumped two feet of snow on parts of Colorado was a hassle for some and a blessing for others.

(October 28, 2006)--Colorado's Keystone ski resort says it will open next Friday, a week earlier than planned.
That's because of this week's blizzard that dumped up to two feet of snow.
The storm was a hassle though for many residents.
Some schools were closed Friday.
But hundreds of miles of roads are open again.
Many residents are removing broken tree limbs that crashed under the weight of wet snow.
Utility crews restored power for thousands of customers who lost electricity.
The snow was also welcome for water utilities and farmers, as the closely watched mountain snow pack, which provides much of the state's water, got an early boost.
