ROGERS (May 21, 2009)--Thanks to a cooler, a worker escaped serious injury Thursday when the roof of a house he was helping to demolish in the Bell County town of Rogers collapsed.
Paramedics were dispatched Thursday morning to the house at the intersection of North Alvin Ailey and Harrison.
The worker, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to a hospital for treatment of what appeared to be a broken leg.
He wasn’t trapped, because the cooler bore the brunt of the collapse and left space for him to escape the wreckage.

I don't see how a cooler would have helped against a roof collapsing, unless of course it was full of ice and beer :)
