(November 7, 2006)—An accident involving four 18-wheelers around 6 a.m. Tuesday shut down a portion of Highway 6.
The accident happened when the driver of one of the trucks failed to stop at a stop sign before attempting to pull onto Highway 6 from Highway 14 in Robertson County.
That truck was rear-ended by a second 18-wheeler, and then two more big rigs drove through the debris, which punctured their tires.
One driver remained in the hospital Tuesday evening.
Investigators said fog could have been a factor in the accident.
