(November 24, 2006)--The first of four funerals for students killed when a school bus plummeted over a highway overpass in Huntsville, Ala earlier this week was held Friday.

Nicole Ford, 19, was one of four girls who died when the bus went over a guardrail and dropped 30 feet to the ground.

Six people remained hospitalized on Thanksgiving Day following the crash.

Pam Sparks, a spokeswoman for Huntsville Hospital, said two of those still hospitalized are in critical condition.

Sparks says one of those still hospitalized is the bus driver, Anthony Scott.

Forty Lee High School students and Scott were on the school bus Monday morning when a car came up on a side lane and evidently hit the bus.

A Lee High School student was driving the car. Police have not released his name while the crash is under investigation.
