Georgia Congresswoman Introduces Impeachment Bill

(December 8, 2006)--During her time in Congress, Cynthia McKinney has done everything from fueling 9/11 conspiracy theories to hitting a Capitol Police officer.

And while her career is at an end, McKinney isn't going quietly.

She introduced a bill Friday to impeach President Bush.

McKinney made the move in the final hours of the current Congress.

She argues Bush violated his oath of office to defend the Constitution and America's laws.

The bill is dead on arrival. The incoming House speaker says she won't consider such a thing.

McKinney lost her Georgia House seat in August's Democratic primary runoff.

In March she hit a police officer who didn't recognize her and tried to stop her from entering a House building.

She later apologized on the House floor.
