Boy Drowns At Texas Water Park
A boy who was swimming at a Texas water park has drowned, authorities said Monday.

ROSE CITY (June 22, 2009)--A 9-year-old Houston boy drowned at a water park in Southeast Texas over the weekend.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department identified the victim as Andre Johnson.

Deputies say Johnson was swimming Sunday afternoon at Boomtown U.S.A. in Rose City.

Lifeguards found the boy's body in about 7-8 feet of water after his couldn’t immediately locate him.
