BLUM (June 22, 2009)--The name of a man who was killed in a fiery head-on collision between a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler in Hill County was released Monday.

Hill County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Martis Ward told News 10 the man killed was Joshua Stacy, 22.

He’s believed to be from Morgan

Stacy was killed when his pickup veered into the northbound lane of Highway 174 and collided head-on with a semi-truck and tractor last week.

The pickup burst into flames.

Ward said an initial autopsy report indicated Stacy died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Ward said toxicology data will determine if alcohol was a factor in the accident, but he does not expect that report back for several more days.
