AUSTIN (June 26, 2009)--A private plane that crashed on takeoff from Arizona on a flight to the Austin area carried more than 12 pounds of marijuana and a suitcase with cash.

Cmdr. Bob Sutton of the Navajo County, Ariz., Sheriff's Office said the drugs and money were in the rear of the wreckage.

Wednesday's fiery crash outside Holbrook, Ariz., killed all four people on board.

The Austin American-Statesman on Friday reported that Sutton said the pilot and owner of the Beechcraft Bonanza, David Tuntland, 45, of Cedar Park, was killed in the crash, along with Catherine A. Gordon, 42, of Cedar Park and Kyle Peters, 21, of Santa Rosa, Calif.

The name of the fourth victim was not immediately released.

The twin-engine plane was returning from California to a Lago Vista airport.

No LN you are just blind to the fact that the government created alot of drugs. Ectacy was made for couples therapy and prescribed by shrinks...and you have to have a CHEMIST in order to produce it. Meth same thing, it was given to soldiers during the war to keep them awake, unscared, ect. You honestly think joe blow poor man came up with these drugs? LOL most of the people selling it cant even read or write.....someone with the means to produce have to be at the start. Sorry to ruin your "drugs are produced and sold in ghettos" like the government would like you to believe. And the corrupt cops take money and drugs confiscated and put it right back on the streets. Do some research and dont believe everything the government tell you.

A twin engine plane? Sorry but a Beech Bonanza is a single engine plane. And with 12 pounds of pot it doesn't seem like they were heavily dealing it either. The CIA is importing the pot to keep us beat down? Sounds like you have been smoking too much of it yourself anonymous @ 10:12 am!
