FALLS COUNTY (June 29, 2009)--A North Texas man has been found dead in a stock pond on property he owned in Falls County.

Walter Chandler, of Farmer's Branch, was found submerged in the small stock pond near Falls County Road 277 and State Highway 14, just north of Bremond.

Falls County Justice of the Peace Sharon Maxey pronounced Chandler dead at the scene after 6 p.m. on Saturday and ordered an autopsy.

The body was found during a search that started after police in Highland Village notified Falls County authorities that Chandler had not been heard from since last Thursday when he went to the county.

Aircraft from the Texas Department of Public Safety, state game wardens, the Bremond Volunteer Fire Department, a K-9 team from Centex Search and Rescue and a rescue dive team from US HERO assisted the Falls County Sheriff's Department in the search.

It appears Chandler drowned, but Falls County Sheriff Ben Kirk told News 10 an investigation into Chandler's death is continuing.

Falls County is full of it. They are not investigating anything, they are too busy tricking with all the trash in the county! t

Better get some expert law enforcement to close this case, because Falls county couldn't close an umbrella.
