Waco-Area Man Pleads Guilty To Brother’s Murder
A Waco-area man accused of stabbing his brother to death with a screwdriver during a right pleaded guilty to murder Monday.

WACO (June 29, 2009)--A Lacy-Lakeview man pleaded guilty Monday morning in Waco's 54th State District Court to murder in the death of his brother.

Jonathon Satchell was charged in the October 2008 stabbing death of his brother Roderick Satchell.

District Judge Matt Johnson sentenced Jonathon Satchell to 20 years in state prison.

Roderick Satchell was stabbed with a screwdriver during a late-night altercation at 209 S. Barbara in Lacy-Lakeview.

He was pronounced dead at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.

Jonathan Satchell, was arrested and charged with murder.
