I watched this chase live on tv. They were chasing the guy because he was threatening to kill himself. They wanted to stop him before he hurt himself or anyone else. They backed off several times when the chase began to become dangerous. He finally pulled off into a residential area. He originally stopped at the light then went ahead and pulled out anyway and was slammed into by the truck. The driver of the truck exited his truck so he was not seriously injured.
To EJ and Way to Go in Waco you two are idiots. Last I Checked it was the job of the police to bring felons to justice. Explain to me how they are in the wrong here. It sucks that the other guys truck was wrecked but it was not wrecked by the police. I believe the only one in the wrong was the felon who committed another felony by running from the police.
Well the coppers did not know he was wanted until after they stopped him and identified him. So that means they went on chasing this guy for over an hour through two counties for a traffic violation. Ya if they where chasing him b/c they knew he was wanted for a violent crime then sure he needs to be caught be the only probable cause you have for the stop is a traffic violation thats no good. What if a family would have been in the truck and little ones where hurt. There has to be a stop put to this madness and abuse of power within police officers these days. We cant trust them what so ever
