LANCASTER (July 1, 2009)--A standoff between Dallas County authorities and a man wanted in a San Antonio double murder ended without bloodshed Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say constables, police and other officers surrounded Alonzo Mendoza, 31, at a North Texas gas station Wednesday afternoon.

After several hours, authorities used a flash bang and Mendoza was taken into custody in Lancaster.

San Antonio police have obtained an arrest warrant for Mendoza in the death of his wife and another clerk at a Dollar General.

Misty Dawn Espinosa, 25, and Clarence Adolfo Blades, 40, died earlier Wednesday after a gunman shot them at the discount store.

The standoff began after authorities tried to pull over the car Mendoza was driving.
