WACO (July 3, 2009)--Steven Laray Fisher, 19, of Waco who hadn’t been heard from since he phoned his mother on June 21, called from a blocked number to tell his mother he’s OK, but not ready to return home yet, police said Friday afternoon.
Police did not say whether Fisher told his mother where he was, but said he should no longer be considered missing.
Police asked for the public’s help Thursday to find Fisher and said his family feared the he was the victim of foul play.
He had been missing since June 19, but he did call his mother two days after he disappeared and told her he was not in any physical danger.
He didn’t say where he was.
Police said Fisher's mother told officers her son seemed fine during the conversation.
Then, on June 24, two men went to Fisher’s house and told the missing man’s mother they were looking for Fisher and they threatened to do harm to him once they found him.
Police Thursday would not discuss the details surrounding why those two men may have been looking for Fisher, saying it was part of an on-going investigation.

Is this really the latest photo of this woman's son? Maybe it was thought people would pay more attention to a child's face.

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense, so why is it still a news worthy item???

This boy is 19 years old? He sure doesn't look it. Sounds like he has gotten mixed up in something he shouldn't have and is in hiding. Hope no one is harmed during whatever is going on.
