HOUSTON (July 6, 2009)--A driver in a white van led Houston police on a high-speed chase for nearly an hour Monday through two Texas counties.
Houston Police Sgt. J.A. Mora said the driver led police in circles for about 25 miles on Monday, before pulling into a parking garage in north Houston.
The man stopped the van in the garage and ran to the rooftop, where officers surrounded him at gunpoint.
He then jumped down onto a service building, at one point hanging off a ledge.
Mora says that after the man jumped from a height of nearly 30-feet, police took him into custody.
Police say the man is part of an ongoing investigation by the West Side Tactical Team.

Should have shot the idiot. Or taken him back up to the roof and gave him a second jump as Jon suggest.
Jumped down 30 feet and the police arrested him? Should have tossed him back off the building and let him do the rest of the free fall.
Wow!!! Just like in the movies.
