One-Car Accident Claims Life Of 35-Year-Old Central Texas Man
A one-car accident early has claimed the life of a 35-year-old Central Texas man.

LAMPASAS (July 9, 2009)--A San Saba man is dead after a one-car accident early Thursday morning about four miles north of Lampasas.
Lampasas County Justice of the Peace Andy Garcia pronounced John Steven Barta, 35, of San Saba, dead at the scene at 4:41 a.m. Thursday.
Barta's body was taken to Sneed Funeral Home, in Lampasas, where services are pending.
The Department of Public Safety investigator's report indicates Barta driving south on U.S. Highway 183 when he lost control, spun out, left the roadway and overturned after striking several trees.
Barta was not wearing a seat belt.

John truly loved his son and I can not count the times that he would mention him while i went in to the cleaners. He was very friendly kind to me always. May you rest in peace.

john was my good friend,john if your listening you should of listen to my mom, or should should i say your mom as well, youshould of stayed and got got some rest. we love and miss you, and thank you for the advise you gave me outside, r.i.p john.you where so dedicated to seeing your son. love you.
