TEMPLE (July 9, 2009)—Arthur Wilson, 62, and Heather Silva, 25, both of Temple, were in the Bell County Jail Thursday in connection with the robbery of a man who had just cashed a check at a convenience store.
Police credit their arrests to an alert witness to got the license number of the truck in which the two drove off after the holdup.
The victim told police two people gave him a ride to the Quick Pick store at 619 S. 1st Street in Temple where he cashed the check Wednesday evening.
But he said as he returned to their vehicle, the two took the money and sped off in their pickup truck.
The witness to the robbery provided officers with a description of the vehicle as well as the license plate number, police said.
Officers traced the vehicle to a residence in the 1100 block of South 3rd Street, where they found the truck, the suspects and the cash, police said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was not seriously injured, police said.
The Bell County District Attorney’s Office was reviewing the case Thursday.

Thanks next big thing hewitt. Now we will not have to listen/read your comments any more. All the information and pictures were on the televised news.
Well how about it. No description of the people, so they must be white. But one try to say that since it was at a check cashing place that might automatically make them black....I think this is my last comment concerning the race of people. I am really tired of so many people with the belief that only black folks are committing crimes in Waco, Temple and Killeen.
