Manhunt Underway After Violent Central Texas Assault

JONESBORO (July 9, 2009)—The search for a suspect continued Thursday after a violent attack Wednesday afternoon on a Jonesboro man who was airlifted to Scott & White Hospital, in Temple with multiple blunt force injuries.
Tina Suggs, 40, told deputies her ex-boyfriend, was responsible for the attack on William Brundige, 53.
Coryell County sheriff’s deputies are looking for Edmund Odell Collins in connection with the attack in which Brundige was beaten in the head and chest with the butt of a shotgun at a ranch south of Jonesboro where Suggs and Brundige worked.
Suggs told deputies the attacker pointed the shotgun, ordered her to leave, and said he would kill her if she didn’t.
Suggs told deputies she ran to get away.
Brundige will require surgery to repair areas of his face and also to repair multiple fractures of his right arm, authorities said.
Felony warrants have been issued for Collins, including one charging aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and exhibiting a deadly weapon for the assault on Brundige, and a second charging aggravated assault, exhibiting a deadly weapon during an assault for the assault on Suggs.

Granted we don't know the whole story it does seem to have to do with the girl. Like other people mentioned no girl is worth it. But I also don't think anyone exactly what happened. Though I think probabaly Mr Collins encountered something that put him over the edge and regretted it following as he surrendered himself. He is responsible for his actions. He needs help as does the woman involved for leading these two men on.
