Fiery Bus Crash On Texas Interstate Leaves One Dead, 3 Injured
One person died and three others were injured when a public transit bus rear-ended two cars on a busy Texas interstate highway.

FORT WORTH (July 11, 2009)--One person is dead and three others are injured after a public transit bus rear-ended two cars on a busy Fort Worth interstate Friday.
The crash happened about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Interstate 820 eastbound at Mark IV Parkway, about a quarter mile west of Interstate 35W.
Fort Worth Transportation Authority operations manager Tony Johnson told KTVT-TV of Fort Worth and Dallas that a car stopped short in front of the "T" special-needs bus, was hit from behind and slammed into another car.
All three erupted in flames.
MedStar operations supervisor Jeff Popp told KTVT that two people were taken to Dallas hospitals in critical condition, while one was taken to a Fort Worth-area hospital in stable condition.
The bus driver and the lone passenger escaped unhurt.
