Among other things, the commission found that Lynch “failed to properly disclose total political contributions maintained” averaging about $23,740 in violation of the Texas Election Code.

The ruling said Lynch filed corrected reports on April 16, 2008 and said that in his response to the Ethics Commission, he swore he made all corrections required to address the allegations.

Larry Lynch is your typical unethical, silver tongued, lying politician. He has never been a real law enforcement officer in his entire life. He would make a great used car salesman.

Poor Larry. It does seem like just a slap on the wrist but hopefully there will be a COMPETENT alternative in the next election, not just someone they are grooming down there at Ft. Lynch.

Never let it be said I don't admit when I am wrong. I thought Larry was conspiring to outsource the county jail. Turns out the $561,000 taxpayer dollars Larry spent for overtime and temp staff was just a continuation of how he manages his personal business. It's not a conspiracy...it's profound incompetence. I was wrong.
