(January 4, 2007)—Spring-like weather has caused some of Washington, D.C.’s famous cherry trees to bloom.
By the calendar, it’s the dead of winter, but Washington's alive with spring things.
Last month the average temperature was five degrees above normal and it hit 75 one day.
Predictions call for an early and tough spring for allergy sufferers with all the flowers blooming.
