Texas Man Drowns During Weekend Outing
A Central Texas man who went under while playing catch at a lake in Oklahoma has drowned.

ARDMORE, Okla. (July 20, 2009)--A 24-year-old Texas man has drowned in Lake Murray in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Rigoberto Vanegas-Chavez of Pilot Point was playing catch in shallow water about 2:20 p.m. Sunday when he went under and didn't resurface.
Troopers say Vanegas-Chavez's body was found about 5 p.m. about 30 feet from shore.
