MARLIN (July 17, 2009)—A missing Marlin teenager who police now think may be with someone she met online has phoned her family, but her whereabouts remained a mystery Tuesday.

Marlin police asked for the public’s help Friday in locating Odeesia Alexander, 15, who was last seen on July 12 in Marlin.

They said they thought she might be either in Killeen or in the Arlington area.

Police have since found evidence that suggests she ran away to meet someone she had met through her MySpace page.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to call Marlin police at (254) 883-9255.
