WACO (July 24, 2009)--Two men made off with a golf cart that was parked in front of a Waco apartment complex office Friday afternoon and then managed to elude police.
At about 1 p.m., employees at the Rain Tree Apartments, in the 6800 block of Tennyson Ave., reported to police that the two men stole a maintenance golf cart from the front of the apartment office.
Officers were dispatched to the area and spent most of an hour searching for the golf cart thieves, but were not able to locate them.
The manager of the apartment complex declined to speak with News 10's reporter at the scene.
