(January 14, 2007)—Freezing rain, sleet and slight accumulations of ice remain a possibility, but flooding evidently isn’t much of a threat anymore.
The National Weather Service Sunday cancelled a flash flood watch that included Hill, Freestone, Bell, McLennan, Falls, Limestone, Leon, Milam and Robertson Counties in Central Texas.
Soils are saturated in the watch area, the Weather Service said, but additional precipitation isn’t expected to create significant flooding issues.
