SAN ANTONIO (July 29, 2009)--The Texas woman who’s accused of decapitating her 3½-week-old son can be heard on a tape of a 911 call that her sister made screaming that she didn't mean to kill the baby.

The four-minute 911 call that San Antonio police released Wednesday ends with mother Otty Sanchez crying, "I love him. I didn't mean to do it. He told me to," while her sister pleads with the 911 operator for an ambulance to come to the house.

Priscilla Sanchez tells the dispatcher that her sister has stabbed herself in the heart and stomach and that "there is blood all over the bed."

Authorities say Otty Sanchez told them the devil made her kill Scott Wesley Buchholz-Sanchez early Sunday.

Otty Sanchez, 33, is charged with capital murder and is held in lieu of $1 million bond.

The baby’s father wants to see the woman executed.

Scott W. Buchholz told The Associated Press Tuesday that Otty Sanchez seemed fine in the days before the slaying.

He said the couple had argued and that Sanchez told him she had been diagnosed with postpartum depression and was going to be admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Buchholz told AP, "She killed my son. She should burn in hell."

Sanchez's relatives told The San Antonio Express News that she had been diagnosed with postpartum psychosis.
