(January 24, 2007)--Anna Nicole Smith has won a small victory in her dispute with a former boyfriend over who's the father of her baby.
A judge in Los Angeles has temporarily blocked an order forcing her daughter to undergo paternity testing.
Deadline for the testing had been Tuesday.
Larry Birkhead wants the tests because he says he's the father of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.
She was born Sept. 7 in the Bahamas.
Smith's lawyer is questioning if the paternity test is legal.
He says Bahamas authorities need to grant work permits before an American doctor could do the test.
Everything is on hold pending a hearing on Feb. 7.
Birkhead's attorney says the request from Smith's lawyer is "a delay tactic."
