GRAND PRAIRIE (August 17, 2009)--A Grand Prairie man was charged with intoxication manslaughter charge after a badly injured bicyclist was found dying in the back seat of his parked car.

Vincent Paul Riojas, 27, was driving at about 9:25 p.m. Saturday on Texas 180 when his car drifted into the oncoming lane, according to a statement released Monday by the Grand Prairie Police Department, and collided head-on with the bicycle that the victim, Ronnie Monroe Keller, 59, of Grand Prairie was riding.

Investigators say the impact of the collision hurled Keller into the windshield of the car and flipped him over the roof before he crashed through the rear window, where he became partially lodged in the car's back seat.

According to the police statement, Riojas drove from the scene to his home and evidently tried to hide the car in a side yard before fleeing.

Sounds like a good number of half educated racists have nothing better to do than come here and mouth off among the better of us. ginny I hope you did not get a rash breakout spewing all of that trash. Plenty of drunks out there. You read about a dwi tradgedy every day. Streets not safe period, especially for the vunerable like bicyclist, pedestrians. Also those poor motorized wheelchair citizens that go down our streets. I fear that one will be the next victim to a dwi nut. This nations ailing economy will promote more alcohol abuse, especially among the poorer that live from week to week.

i keep hearing how illegals are here building our houses, cleaning hotel rooms, building our roads. Americans won't do these jobs. NEWS FLASH people. yes Americans WILL do these jobs but not for the price illegals will do it. thats why we need to crack down on employers. they get cheap labor so THEY can make a big profit. thats why we have so much unemployment here. employers are paying cheap wages . illegals will live with alot of people in one home so they can work cheap and most American families have just 1 family living in a home. don't tell me illegals pay taxes and spend their money here. that is a lie, they send most of their money home to whatever country they call home. so people get your story straight. stop believing everything your goverment tells you. have a great day and wake up America!!!!
