LAMPASAS (August 19, 2009)—Lampasas County sheriff’s deputies and Texas Rangers are investigating after the death of a 2-month-old girl and the arrest of the infant’s parents, who are charged with injury to a child and may face additional charges, as well.

Two-month-old Isabella Garza was pronounced dead Monday at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, to which her parents had taken her from their home in Lampasas County, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday.

Lowell Preston Garza and Crystal Raquel Garza, were later arrested and charged with injury to a child with intent of serious bodily injury, the sheriff’s office said.

Lowell only confessed to hitting Isabella three times in the stomach. He doesn't know how Isabella ended up with skull fractures and bruises around the neck and face. I wonder why investigators are not wanting to know the whole story.

Preston needs to quit hurting innocent children. If you've been around him and/or your children, please speak out if he's abused/molested you or your child. Please don't let him continue molesting and being manipulative and ruining children's lives. Unfortunately, the statute of limitations is up for me for reporting the molestation. Lowell is just another victim of Preston's wrath. Lowell has so much anger within him from being raised by Preston, I'm sure. Preston has molested many children and manipulates them into loving him as a father to where they don't speak out. I'm not sure if he molests boys, but I do know his wrath is not a "walk in the park." Let's end Preston's domestic violence/molestation. Please, please call DA if you've been abused by Preston, please....Let's have Preston, for once, be accountable for his criminality! I'm so saddened by the loss of two innocent children, Lowell and his Baby!!

Oh, and one more thing - I worked at Rollins Brook Hospital. They don't have ANY baby emergency care equiptment AT ALL. We lived in Kempner, therefore by me calling 911, they would've sent an ambulance from Rollins Brook only to take my daughter straight to Metroplex - the nearest care facility that would've been able to assist us and care for my baby girl. By just driving straight to Metroplex it saved time. I DID choose to drive straight to Killeen and I wouldn't go back and do it differently by calling 911. Under the circumstances, that was the quickest way to get my daughter to help. Kempner is half way between Rollins Brook and Metroplex, so like I said before - before you go talking about things you don't know about - CHECK THE FACTS. And don't you dare talk about my family like that. You don't know anything about us, all you know is ink on a newspaper and these days, that doesn't mean a hill of beans.
