(January 30, 2007)--A 31-year-old death-row inmate is scheduled to die Tuesday evening in the Texas death chamber in Huntsville.
Christopher Jay Swift is to die for strangling his wife and mother-in-law less than four years ago.
Former Denton County prosecutor Lee Ann Breading says the Swifts' 5-year-old son had witnessed the slayings.
She says he told investigators that his daddy had killed his mommy and his grandma.
Officers found 27-year-old Amy Sabeh-Swift stabbed and strangled in the family recreational vehicle in Irving.
She was eight months pregnant.
They then found her 61-year-old mother, Sandra Stevens Sabeh, strangled at her home in a Lake Dallas a mobile home park, north of Dallas.
Swift has ordered no legal steps be taken to block his punishment and is volunteering for execution.
The lethal injection in Huntsville would make Swift the third inmate executed this year in Texas, the nation's most active capital punishment state.
