OKLAHOMA CITY (August 26, 2009)--Authorities say the body of a pastor killed inside her small Oklahoma church was "staged" or moved into an unnatural position, after the slaying.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Thursday that the body of Carol Daniels, 61, was "staged" in the Christ Holy Sanctified Church in Anadarko, but declined to elaborate.
Police said they are reviewing video surveillance tapes for clues in the brutal killing.
A preliminary autopsy found she died of "multiple sharp force injuries," and a local prosecutor described the crime scene as "the most horrific" he's ever witnessed.
Authorities met with pastors in Anadarko on Wednesday warning them to take security precautions at their buildings.
