Man Wanted After Central Texas Drug Raid Dies In Motorcycle Crash
A 53-year-old man who was the focus of a police search after a raid on his apartment turned up cocaine and drug paraphernalia has died in motorcycle accident.

CAMERON (August 30, 2009)--Antonio Vargas, Sr., 53, of Cameron, who was named in an arrest warrant charging possession of cocaine in a drug free zone and possession of an drug paraphernalia after a raid on an apartment, has died in a motorcycle accident, the Milam County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Sunday.
Vargas died Friday south of Thorndale when his motorcycle ran through a fence.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The arrest warrant was issue Friday after Cameron police and two constables searched Vargas’ apartment in response to complaints from residents in the area about narcotics trafficking.
