WICHITA FALLS (August 31, 2009)—A man and a toddler died and a woman was injured in a shooting that resulted from family violence, but two children escaped injury by hiding in a closet, Wichita Falls police say.

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office says Benjamin Prince, 28, was jailed Monday on capital murder and aggravated assault charges stemming from the incident.

Police say 23-month-old Trebian Prince and John Prince, 20, died in the attack Sunday morning.

The toddler suffered a head injury.

The man was shot.

Police say Nicole Grant, 25, was shot in the shoulder.

United Regional Health Care nursing supervisor Clint Lee said Grant was treated and released.

An 8-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy who hid in a closet were unharmed.

Police did not immediately release any relationships between the suspect, who was arrested at the home, and the victims.
