Veteran City Planner Named Manager Of Waco Suburb
A Waco suburb has tapped Waco City Hall for its new city manager.

WACO (September 17, 2009)—Veteran Waco city planner Robert Cervenka has been named city manager of the Waco suburb of Robinson.

Cervenka, who has worked for the City of Waco for nearly three decades and whose experience includes economic development, budgeting, planning, emergency management and transportation, will start the job on Oct. 19.

Cervenka, who holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Baylor University, replaces R. C. Fletcher, who’s retiring in December after serving as city manager of Robinson since 1998.
