WACO (September 17, 2009)—Veteran Waco city planner Robert Cervenka has been named city manager of the Waco suburb of Robinson.

Cervenka, who has worked for the City of Waco for nearly three decades and whose experience includes economic development, budgeting, planning, emergency management and transportation, will start the job on Oct. 19.

Cervenka, who holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Baylor University, replaces R. C. Fletcher, who’s retiring in December after serving as city manager of Robinson since 1998.

Congratulations Robert Cervenka, and R.C Fletcher. Maybe this will be a whole lot better for both Cities!
