Experimental Helicopter Crashes On North Texas Golf Course

(February 21, 2007)—Nobody was hurt Wednesday afternoon when an experimental Army helicopter based at Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth crashed on a suburban golf course.
The helicopter came to rest on its side at the Walnut Creek Country Club in Mansfield.
KXAS television reports some members of the Mansfield High School golf team were nearby and witnessed the accident.
Mansfield is about ten miles southeast of Fort Worth.
The helicopter was carrying one Army pilot and one from Bell
Helicopter on a flight from the company's Arlington facility.
