Man Wanted In Deadly Georgia Home Invasion Arrested Here

BELTON (September 23, 2009)--A Georgia man is in custody in Bell County on a charge of murder stemming from a deadly home invasion in Georgia.

Derrick Styles, 24, is being held awaiting extradition in the Bell County Jail after his arrest Tuesday in Killeen.

Styles was arrested at about noon Tuesday by U.S. Marshals at an address on Echo Drive, in Killeen.

Styles had been on the run from Georgia lawmen since the July 26 murder of Alberto Lemus in Brooks County, Ga.

Styles' older brother, Michael Styles, 26, turned himself in at the Brooks County Jail on August 5 on a charge of murder and a charge of party to the commission of a crime.

Cornell Stevens, 29, Lamar Jones, 24 and Essie Hollis, 25, also have been arrested in Georgia in connection with the murder.

In addition 29-year-old Cornell Stephens and 24-year-old Lamar Jones, both of Quitman, Ga., are being held in connection with the crime.
