Actor Randy Quaid and his wife were free on bond Friday after they were arrested in Texas on charges stemming from an unpaid $10,000 hotel bill in California.

MARFA (September 25, 2009)--Actor Randy Quaid and his wife were free on bond Friday after spending several hours Thursday in jail in West Texas where they were arrested on charges stemming from an unpaid $10,000 hotel bill in California.
Quaid and his wife, Evi, each posted $20,000 bail late Thursday after spending several hours in the Presidio County Jail, county Sheriff Danny Dominguez told The Associated Press.
Dominguez said he drove the actor to a bank to obtain the bail money.
The Quaids were arrested Thursday afternoon after a deputy spotted the couple driving into town, where they had been staying at a Marfa hotel, Dominguez said.
The felony warrant was issued for Quaid and his wife out of Santa Barbara County, Calif.
It charged burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy.
The Web site TMZ reported that there was a struggle and says Quaid’s wife was screaming loudly as deputies wrestled her to the ground.
