COPPERAS COVE (September 25, 2009)—Three women were arrested and charged Thursday after an attempt to shoplift party supplies from the Copperas Cove Wal-Mart store ended in a tussle with loss prevention employees, police said Friday.

Ariel Latifah Jones, Christi Shavon Donaldson and Estelle Sarita Julius were arrested after the incident.

Jones was charged with robbery and was later freed on $5,000 bond.

Donaldson and Julius both were charged with theft under $50 and released from custody after posting $200 municipal court personal recognizance bonds.

The charges stem from an attempt to shoplift supplies including ribbons, plates, cups and chemical lights Thursday night from the Wal-Mart at 2720 U.S. Highway 190 in Copperas Cove, police lt. Danny Austin said.

When loss prevention employees attempted to detain one of the shoplifters, a fight ensued, Austin said.

So, if you follow the law and expect others to do the same, you are stupid? What makes people immune to following laws, and then what gives them the right to whine and complain when they get caught? I am sick to death of people insinuating politics and race into everything. If you steal, you are nothing but a criminal. Period. Dress it up how ever you want, but you are just a drain on society. Get a job, contribute like everyone else and pay for what you want. You know, that crazy notion of actually earning something instead of just feeling that you are entitled to it.
