SAN SABA (October 3, 2009)--A man walked away from a plane crash Saturday afternoon in San Saba County.

DPS Troopers responded to a call about the crash at 3:02 p.m. seven miles north of San Saba off of CR 124.

The pilot of the single-engine plane reported the plane had engine trouble.

When he tried to land, the plane clipped some trees and crashed into more trees and a barbwire fence.

The pilot, whose name wasn't released, had minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

The plane crash remains under investigation.
