(March 8, 2007)--Las Vegas-area police released dramatic cell phone video Thursday of a knife attack at a Nevada supermarket that left four people wounded.

The accused attacker was subdued and jailed on attempted murder charges.

The suspect has been identified as 39-year-old Jerry Gomez of Kingman, Ariz.

Police say he's also used the name Justin Gallo and claimed he was from Eastland County, Texas.

Police say the attack appeared random.

North Las Vegas police say a witness shot the video with a cell phone camera.

A woman's screams can be heard amid grainy images of a man lunging at a security guard during the Tuesday attack at a Food 4 Less store.

The guard and two clerks then chase and subdue the man in a checkout lane.
