NORMAN, OK (October 10, 2009) - Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford threw for 389 yards and a touchdown in his return from a shoulder injury and Chris Brown had two short scoring runs as No. 19 Oklahoma beat Baylor 33-7 on Saturday.

Bradford broke former Heisman runner-up Josh Heupel's school
record with the 14th game of his career with at least 300 yards
passing, and he could have had even bigger numbers if the Sooners'
receivers didn't have trouble handling his passes.

Bradford had a career-high 22 incompletions, but at least six of
those came on drops. A few other passes also hit off receivers'
hands.

Bradford had been out for a month with a sprained AC joint in
his right, throwing shoulder and had hoped to return this week so
he'd have a game under his belt before next week's rivalry game
against No. 2 Texas.

Baylor held their own for the 1st half. Kinda stumbled the 2nd half but overall played a very good game considering their top qb's are out. Proud of the Bears. Job well done. As for OU I hope UT woops the heck out of you. Your always overrated.

I must say, I watched most of the game and was shocked at the fact Baylor held their own in the first half of the game. I'm not a Baylor fan by far, but I really think if Griffin had been playing they possibly could have pulled this game out. I was really hoping they could have to considering I can't stand OU. I wish Baylor the very best and hopefully we can really start seeing some things from them.
