Accident On Central Texas Interstate Leads To Deadly Shooting
Deputies were investigating Monday after two men died in what authorities say was a murder-suicide after an accident on a Central Texas interstate.

LEON COUNTY (October 12, 2009)--Two men are dead after what Leon County sheriff’s deputies are calling a murder suicide along Interstate 45 near the the Centerville exit at the Beaver Creek Bridge.
Leon County deputies said the pickup truck in which the two men were riding rear-ended a car sometime between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday.
After the accident one of the men shot the other with a shotgun, and then turned the weapon on himself, authorities said.
One of the men died at the scene and the other died en route to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Madisonville.
Deputies found alcohol inside the men’s truck.
The names of the victims were not immediately released.
The shooting caused another driver on the highway to swerve.
That vehicle struck another, causing a second accident.
No one was seriously hurt.

THIS STARTED IN DALLAS ON SUNDAY WITH ONE OF THE MEN SHOOTING A GUN OFF SEVERAL TIMES. POLICE WERE CALLED AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO LOCATE THE SHOOTER DUE TO HIM GOING BACK INSIDE AND LOCKING DOORS.
