Search Continues For Fisherman Missing Near Mouth Of Brazos
The search resumed Monday near the mouth of the Brazos River for the second of two fishermen swept into the Gulf of Mexico while wade fishing at Freeport.

FREEPORT (October 12, 2009)--The Coast Guard recovered the body of one fisherman who was evidently swept into the Gulf of Mexico while wade fishing at Freeport and the search was scheduled to resume Monday for a second fisherman who also disappeared near the mouth of the Brazos River.

The Coast Guard says Freeport police reported the two men disappeared late Sunday morning.

Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Patrick Kelley said one body was recovered Sunday night.

The name of the victim was not immediately released.
