KEMPNER (October 12, 2009)—The Kempner Water Supply Corp. issued a boil order for customers Monday after a weekend problem at a treatment plant.
The problem at the Central Texas Water Supply Corp. treatment plant resulted in drop in water quality below a state minimum and that water was sent to the Kempner Water Supply Corp.
The problem has since been corrected, but routine tests must be performed to ensure the water is free of contaminants.
