WICHITA FALLS (October 13, 2009)--Authorities in Wichita Falls say a toddler who was abducted turned up safe six hours later in a car with an 18-year-old man who was dead of a gunshot wound.

Wichita Falls police Sgt. Joe Snyder said the grandmother of 16-month-old Adrianelle Johnson reported that three men kidnapped the baby from a home Sunday night and drove away.

Police were searching the area when a call led them to a car matching the grandmother's description.

Inside they found Stuart Keith Walker dead and the girl unharmed in the back seat.

Snyder told the Wichita Falls Times Record News the baby was taken to the hospital, then released to family members.

Snyder said the child's family knew Walker.

Police were searching for the other two suspects.

My first question is did they test the babies hand for gunshot residue?

What difference does it make? The main story here is the baby was found safe and unharmed!

I am glad the baby is ok. And there is alot left out of the story, but I guess what really matters is the child was found safe..God bless her and her family.
