Teenager Arrested After Texas Toddler Shot
A 17-year-old has been arrested after a shot fired through an apartment wall struck a 3-year-old Texas girl in the foot.

PORT ARTHUR (October 19, 2009)--A 17-year-old has been arrested after a shot fired through an apartment wall injured a 3-year-old girl in Port Arthur, police said.
After discovering that the child had been shot Sunday night, police knocked on the door of a neighboring apartment to see if there were any victims there.
When they didn’t get an answer, they forced their way in, and found the teenager hiding in a closet.
Officers also found a sawed-off shotgun and a high-powered rifle that investigators think was used in the shooting, police said.
The teenager is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The 3-year-old is in stable condition with a foot wound, police said.
