Fort Hood Soldier Found Dead In Off-Post Resident
A Fort Hood soldier who was a veteran of the war in Iraq has been found dead in his off-post residence, the Army said Monday.

FORT HOOD (October 19, 2009)--Spc. Joshua Heath White, 29, of Bacliff, Texas was found dead Friday at his off-post residence, Fort Hood said Monday.

Bell County Justice of the Peace Bill Cook pronounced White dead, Fort Hood said.

The cause of death has not been determined.

White joined the Army in August 2006 and had been assigned to the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, III Corps as an aircraft structural repairer since March 2007.

He served a tour of duty in Iraq from June 2008 through June 2009.

His death is under investigation.
