Victim Of Deadly Early-Morning Crash Identified
An early Wednesday morning accident one-vehicle accident south of Rockdale claimed the life of a Taylor man.

MILAM COUNTY (October 21, 2009)-Jimmie John Jones, 31, of Taylor, died early Wednesday morning after he lost control of his pick up truck on a lonely road south of Rockdale.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers told News 10 Jones was driving on Farm-to-Market Road 908, about 6 miles south of Rockdale in far southern Milam County when he lost control of his truck which veered off the roadway and overturned.

The investigating trooper said Jones was not wearing a seatbelt.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident was reported to the DPS office in Waco just after 5:30 a.m.
