Truck Overturns on Interstate Exit Ramp
An 18-wheeler hauling a load of soft drinks from Laredo overturned Friday morning on an Interstate 35 exit ramp.

MCLENNAN COUNTY (October 23, 2009)—The Department of Public Safety assisted Bruceville-Eddy police Friday morning after an 18-wheeler overturned on an Interstate 35 exit ramp.
DPS Dispatcher McKinney told News the truck rolled and landed on its side on the frontage road around 8:00 a.m. Friday as the driver exited from northbound I-35 at mile marker 318 near Bruceville-Eddy.
The driver escaped serious injury.
The truck was hauling a load of soft drinks from Laredo.

Most, if not all Exit/Entry ramps on I-35 are too short and most require a sharp turn on/off which adds to the unsafe usage by 18 wheelers.
