WACO (October 23, 2009)--One woman was injured Friday afternoon in a crash involving a pickup truck and an RV on New Road at the entrance to the Flying J Truck Stop in Waco.
The woman, who was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, was taken by East Texas Medical Center ambulance to a local hospital.
The man who was driving the RV and his wife, who was a passenger, both escaped injury.
Authorities said the collision happened as the drive of the recreational vehicle, which was westbound on New Road, attempted to turn into the truck stop.
The pickup was heavily damaged, but damage to the RV was not as serious.
